    Detailed drawing plans passed to our operations team. You’ll be provided with a project schedule so you know exactly what to expect from your fit out. We’ll collect the keys and get everything in place for the fun to begin!

  • Strip out works

    Things always need to get a little worse before they can get better. First things first, the removal and responsible disposal of anything no longer needed make room for your new and improved office.

  • The build

    It’s construction time. Step back and let our fitters do their thing as they get to work, top to bottom. Fitting new ceilings, walls, floors, doors, plumbing, electrics and kitchens - there’s nothing they can’t do. All whilst coordinating the smooth running of materials arriving on site.

  • Furniture

    Once the messy stuff is done, we can start moving in your specially selected furniture. This is where the dream truly starts to become a reality and your vision comes to life.

  • What is an office fit out?

    Put simply, an office fit out is the transformation of the office spaces so it can be used for its intended purpose. The fit out encompasses a wide range of design and build services in one package.

  • How much does a fit out cost?

    We thought you might say that. So we’ve made an instant office cost calculator allowing you to quickly see how much your office fit out will cost. Every project is unique but based on the size of your work environment and the style of design we can provide an accurate indicative cost.

  • What types of office fit out are there?

    There’s a lot of jargon out there! Put simply there are four different levels of fit out:

    • Shell and core fit out: A shell and core does what it says on the tin. Provides the outer building (shell) and the very basic structural elements of the inner building (core) such as stairs and lifts. Everything else will need to be installed to make the space functional.
    • CAT A fit out: A step further than shell and core, with a CAT A fit out you will get the essentials and amenities for your office to get it to a functional white empty box. This includes lighting, toilets, ceilings and flooring. Most commonly used for landlords wanting to get the basics in place ready for a tenant to come in and customize for their specific brand and needs.
    • CAT B fit out: Where the fun stuff happens. A CAT B fit out will take the white box and transform it into a living breathing office. Creating rooms, introducing design and personality, producing a layout, and sourcing all of the furniture and equipment. Allowing you can get straight to work!
    • CAT A+ fit out: This type of fit out refers to a ‘plug & play’ style of office, or a co-working office space. It sits somewhere in the middle of CAT A and CAT B. Creating a ready-to-work environment without the same level of personalisation due to the office not ‘belonging’ to any one person or company.

     

  • How long does an office fit out take?

    Depending on the complexity and size of the office that’s being installed a fit out can take anywhere between 6-14 weeks.

  • What is design and build?

    Traditional procurement appoints an architect or design firm to produce the drawings for your fit out and a separate construction firm to carry out the build to the plans. The construction work is actioned off to whichever firm produces the lowest price. This process is sometimes referred to as design, bid, and build. Unlike design and build in which one company is appointed to oversee the entire project. Some benefits of using design and build are:

    • One team to communicate to and carry through your vision
    • Increased cost certainty
    • Improved project scheduling and visibility
    • Cost engineering, design work is costed into the project rather than priced separately
    • Faster project delivery
    • Overlapping of different project phases to happen in parallel
