The Brief

Our client had acquired additional space in their existing building and they wanted to expand their office area. Whilst they were looking to refurbish this new space, they also wanted to refresh the existing workplace interiors to accommodate for a new, open plan style of working. This project required our team of in house commercial interior designers and experienced installers to work together to turn the client’s vision into reality.

The Solution

The team at Gravity worked to produce a suitable design concept that fitted with the client’s vision of a new open plan office. Using the correct commercial interiors and effective space planning, we installed a light and airy office into the existing workspace and expansion.

It’s important to our team that we truly understand the vision and requirements our clients have. Whilst open planned offices have many benefits, including encouraging collaborative workplaces, they need appropriate noise control to reduce the sound disruptions from around the office. To alleviate our client’s concerns, we introduced specialised acoustic products to their interior design. Ceiling hung acoustic rafts added extra noise protection as they absorb sounds from the room to prevent them interrupting other spaces. Controlling noise levels in office environments is vital to create effective focus areas or provide a place for private meetings. Along with an open plan design, our client’s updated office space and expansion underwent new flooring and new lighting to refresh interiors and create an inspiring workspace.
