The Brief
Our client was a returning customer, looking to receive the same professional service that they previously experienced when working with us. They got in touch after acquiring new office premises in London that needed refurbishment. Our client’s final vision followed a similar design to that which we fitted in their previous commercial interior project.
It was therefore important for the new workplace to recapture the client’s minimalist style. The new office space was intended to be open plan, so a challenge arose when creating designated work areas for meetings and breaks were required without using structural walls.
The Solution
Our in house design team began the project by producing bespoke 2D office space plans. These mapped a clearer vision of the client’s open plan workspace to ensure each area was designed to harness maximum efficiency. Our interior designers then rendered full colour 3D images that helped bring the client’s interior ideas to life. These exceptional renderings are imperative to the fit out process as they help to communicate clearly with clients and ensure their project is exactly how they envisioned it.
The brief was to design and install a minimalist office fit out in our client’s new London premises. For this desired impression, we used a monochrome colour palette in the interiors, completing work surfaces with a white finish and using black fabric around the office. The workplace interiors had a ‘refurb’ appearance, using exposed ceilings and wooden effect flooring that suited the minimal style and has become increasingly popular in office designs.
As a solution to create areas defined for certain work, our team used zoning products as a substitute for solid partitions and to eliminate the need for structural walls. This then separated space in the office for meetings, focus areas and we even designed and installed our client’s kitchen.
